IUJ’s Entrepreneurial Club project awarded financing

LOGITRIPS SELECTED TO RECEIVE FUNDING FROM INVESTMENT FIRM

International University of Japan (IUJ) is pleased to announce that Logitrips, a start-up incubated out of its Entrepreneurial Club initiatives, was selected to receive investment from Mission 500, a private investment firm based in Tokyo, Japan and this sets a precedence and opens up possibilities for future entrepreneurs being trained at IUJ.

Logitrips was founded at dormitory of IUJ dormitory by two second-year MBA Students: Jati Andrianto from Indonesia, and Tamir Tsogbayar, from Mongolia.  Logitrips – The logistic of trips, is a feature-differentiated limousines services dedicated to both corporate and private clients in the popular tourism destinations across the Asia-Pacific region.  Bali in Indonesia has been identified as its first location for operation upon completion of its platform development in early 2016.

According to Jati Andrianto, co-founder of Logitrips, and also co-founder of Entrepreneurial Club of IUJ, this investment has far-reaching implications because it will certainly contribute to the foundation for establishing a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem at IUJ – creating a conducive place for graduate students to translate intellectual frameworks into commercial possibilities.

The availability of an anchor investment outfit such as Mission 500, coupled with the updated curriculum offered at the campus, will help to accelerate IUJ’s transformational initiatives, as an internationally diversified premier business school, to the next levels.

2016 PhD Admissions Guidelines and Scholarship Guidelines are also available at the same site. We would like to advise you to read the Admissions Guidelines carefully to understand the application process and the required application items.

Applicants for PhD programs cannot apply through the online application system.

Establishment of the IUJ Case Center (ICC)

The International University of Japan (IUJ) announces the establishment of the International University of Japan Case Center (ICC).

ICC was established on the on the 16th of October 2015 with the aim of contributing towards management education by developing and publishing case studies on businesses, especially in the Asian context, based on high quality research by our faculty members and other collaborators.
