IUJ was established in 1982 as the first English-language graduate school in Japan. Currently, 340 students from 60 countries undertake studies at the university, with over 4,000 additional alumni hailing from a total of 123 countries. It truly lives up to being the university Where the World Gathers. IUJ is a school that is continually growing – not just by the number of countries that students hail from, but in its international standing. The Graduate School of International Management proudly obtained accreditation from AACSB International in 2018. We would like to introduce our MBA Program graduates.

GSIM conferred the BGS certificates to its first batch of BGS lifetime members
The Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) conferred the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) certificates to its first batch of BGS lifetime members. Dean Li congratulated the recipients, introduced the history of BGS, and emphasized the principles the BGS. IUJ President Itami also presented at the ceremony.

Cross-Cultural Management Program for Niigata prefecture companies was held
The Cross-Cultural Management Program for Niigata prefecture companies was held supported by Niigata prefectural government as follows:
・Date： Thursday, 27th June – Saturday, 29th June, 2019
・Venue： IUJ Campus
・Number of participants：9 (from 8 companies)
・Number of IUJ facilitators : 7 (from Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Madagascar)
・Main topics：Understanding and experience of multi culture, Overview of the country and History of each region, Diversity & Team management, Motivation, Cross-Cultural Communication, Global Competitiveness and Action Plan for global business (Team presentation).
This program is designed for companies in Niigata prefecture to acquire knowledge and skill to expand their business to the world. The participants also have chance to meet IUJ facilitator students from different countries to exchange ideas for networking and global mindset.
