Public Relations Nov. 20, 2014 International University of Japan (IUJ) had the pleasure of welcoming the President of the Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Dr. Koichi Niihara.Both school were selected for the “Top Global University Project” (Category B) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT).They agreed positive cooperation in various aspects.
New Students Welcome Day 2014
Public Relations Oct. 9, 2014 On Friday, October 3, 2014, IUJ’s “New Student Welcome Day” was held, and the arrival of 194 incoming students from 36 countries and regions was celebrated by special guests and IUJ’s faculty and staff. This is the biggest incoming class since 1982 when IUJ was founded. Now the IUJ campus has 354 students. The breakdown of the 194 students is 103 for the Graduate School of International Relations and 91 for the Graduate School of International Management. Dean Kase was granted the title of friend of Spanish Brand
Public Relations Oct. 1, 2014 On 29th September 2014 IUJ GSIM’s Dean K Kase was granted at the Cervantes Institute in Tokyo the title of friend of Spanish Brand by the Forum of Renowned Brands belonging to the Spanish Government in recognition of his contribution to the relationships between Spain and Japan, and along with a “diploma” for the appointment a Lladró figure was given to him by the Spanish authorities including the Secretary of State of Spain’s Ministry of Economy and the Spanish Ambassador. Vietnamese Haiphong city Delegates visit IUJ
Public Relations Sep. 22, 2014 IUJ proudly welcomed a 5-member delegation of officials from the city of Haiphong, Vietnam to campus September 18th. Haiphong City’s Steering Board for the Development of Highly Qualified Human Resources (Haiphong Steering Board), and IUJ signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The purpose of the MOU is twofold: 1) To ensure that IUJ, in close cooperation with the Haiphong Steering Board, supports the development of highly qualified human resources for Haiphong City through our academic programs 2) To build a long-term relationship between the Haiphong Steering Board and IUJ. “ICLOVE” will be broadcast on “NHK Ohayo Japan” Public Relations Jan. 7, 2014 A new business collaboration program between Minami-uonuma-shi and IUJ called “ICLOVE” began last July and has offered a workshop, supported research collaboration for small businesses and NPOs based in Minami-Uonuma-shi. IUJ students’ actions to support local business through “ICLOVE” will be broadcast during “NHK Ohayo Japan” on January 17, around 7:30am.
