IUJ-AAT Cooperative Office, Myanmar (IUJ Myanmar Office) Opens

The International University of Japan (IUJ) opened the IUJ-AAT Cooperative Office, Myanmar (IUJ Myanmar Office) on March 1, 2020. The IUJ Myanmar Office is IUJ’s second overseas office after Vietnam. Launch of IUJ Faculty Voice

The International University of Japan (IUJ) has launched a special page, called IUJ Faculty Voice, in which members of the IUJ faculty present their educational and research activities in their own words. Cross Cultural Communication Training Program for Super Global High School

On November 2nd and 3rd, 2019, a two-day training program for 25 students from Yokohama Municipal Minami High School aiming at developing cross cultural understanding and socializing skill. It was the fourth year to hold the program since IUJ and Yokohama Minami High School started cooperating as SGU and SGH school. Specially Appointed Professor Mohammed K. Ahmed, Graduate School of International Management, and Assistant Professor Michael Mondejar, Center for Language Education and Research, gave a lecture on “Cross Cultural Understanding” and “Socializing” respectively. English Presentation by Kokusai Joho High School students

On Friday, February 15 2019, IUJ’s 12 international students served as advisers for English presentation by students of Kokusai Joho High School (KJ), which has been assigned as the Super Global High School (SGH) by MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology). As its research theme for SGH, they are developing global talents by sending their messages from the snowy rice-producing region of UONUMA. Cross Cultural Communication Training Program for Yokohama Municipal Minami High School

On November 3rd and 4th 2018, 25 students from Yokohama Municipal Minami High School, which is designated as Super Global High School (SGH), participated in a 2-day training program at IUJ. The all section of the program were carried out in English. Joining of 13 IUJ international students from 11 countries enabled the participants to learn cross cultural communication in a much cultural diverse environment. IUJ International Students Experienced Rice-Harvesting

On September 18th, 2018, IUJ’s 9 international students participated in rice-harvesting at Niigata Prefectural Kokusai Joho High School (KJ). KJ is the only one high school in Niigata prefecture designated as Super Global High School (SGH). SGH is one of the national undertakings by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to attempt developing global leaders who can work internationally in the near future. This rice-harvesting aimed learning rice farming which is the basic industry in Uonuma area. The 9 international students are from Nepal, Myanmar, Mongol, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Mauritania. English Presentation Training Program for Yokohama Municipal Minami High School was Held

On July 14th, 2018, IUJ welcomed 20 students of Yokohama Municipal Minami High School (Minami High School) to give English training program which attempted enhancing their presentation skill.   Minami High School, which designated as Super Global High School (SGH), aims at “developing next generation business leaders from international city, Yokohama.” Under this initiative, based on “time of integrated study”, they attempts to research and develop next generation leaders who can conceive ideas which would solve social challenges mainly in south-east Asia area, and who can carry out those ideas by creating a sustainable social business.   In this English training program, all the language was English including presentations about […]
