IUJ is participationg in a Fair for internatinal students in Tokyo on Saturday July 6th

Living in Japan right now, and looking to further your education? The Japan Student Services Organization is holding a college guidance fair for international students in Tokyo on Saturday, July 6th from 10am until 4pm, to give prospective students insight into what the schools have to offer. This Fair is applicable to those interested in applying to Japanese Universities for the 2020 academic year or in the near future. The event will give participants the opportunity to find out more about what the universities have to offer. IUJ welcomes you at our booth. The Africa Day event will be held by IUJ African community on Saturday, May 25th

IUJ’s African community are hosting an Africa Day event on Saturday, May 25th from 11am. The event will start off at the MLIC 3rd floor with a mini-conference styled program, highlighting economic and business prospects across the continent. Graduate School of International Management, IUJ Establishes Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter

On May 16, 2019, the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM), IUJ proudly announced the establishment of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Chapter at GSIM. As an AACSB-accredited business school, GSIM earned the right to establish a chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international premier honor society recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in AACSB accredited business schools. The BGS Chapter established at GSIM is the second one in Japan. The BGS induction ceremony was held at Matsushita Library & Information Center (MLIC) Hall at IUJ. The 2019 World Onigiri Championships were held at IUJ on April 27th

The 2019 World Onigiri Championships were held at IUJ on April 27th as part of the university’s annual International Festival. The onigiri championship inviting teams to put a their own spin on the familiar Japanese rice ball, with unique recipes containing flavors and ingredients from all corners of the globe. This year’s event was a competition between nine teams. Six of those teams were comprised of IUJ students, and the remaining three included competitors from the local restaurant Kodamaya, Uonuma Satoyama Nouen (USN), and rice production company Meshitoku. The International Festival (Open Day) was held on April 27th

IUJ’s annual International Festival was held on April 27th, and saw the university’s rich culture and diversity on display. Despite the weather being colder than anticipated, the crowds still turned up to celebrate and enjoy the unique international environment of our campus. Students set up booths with a range of foods from home to serve to the local community. There was everything on offer from Indonesian coffee and soto ayam (a traditional noodle dish) to Filipino adobo and turon (fried banana rolls), Japanese takoyaki, Thai Tom Yum and more.
