Union Minister for Border Affairs meets Myanmar students

At the invitation of the Nippon Foundation, a Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt. Gen.  Ye Aung paid a visit to Japan to study technical and agricultural colleges and research and training centers as well as to discuss further cooperation between the Nippon Foundation and the Ministry of Border Affairs.  During the tour, the minister visited IUJ campus and met Myanmar students.  The minister was accompanied by Mr. Hideo Watanabe, Chairman of Japan-Myanmar Association, H.E. IMC Networking Event – a global gathering

On a recent fieldtrip to Hakkai Creates earlier in May, the CEO, an IUJ alumni, was asked what was the most valuable aspect of his education at IUJ, without hesitation, he said it was the network of people he met during his MBA studies. This statement confirmed the importance of the International Management Council’s (IMC) initiative to host the first networking event for all students in the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM). IUJ Olympic 2017 was held

A successful IUJ Olympic was held from May 15 through May 27.  This is an annual event which is held in the evenings after classes and on weekends, organized by Graduate School Organization Executive Committee (GSO-EC).  A total of 8 multi-cultural teams (25 members per team) which are formed by mainly students included staff, alumni and outsiders aimed for victory over 15 various events.  “Team Warriors” won the overall victory this year as well as last year, the gold medals and a trophy were awarded. The International Festival 2017 (OPEN DAY) was held on May 13

Commemorating IUJ’s 35th anniversary, a very successful International Festival 2017 was held on May 13.  A total of 2,700 visitors including 150 IUJ alumni from 11 countries enjoyed international dishes prepared by and stage shows performed by IUJ students from around the world, showcasing their individual cultures.  There were stage performances by local Japanese groups, too.  The IUJ Gym was filled with excitement.  Thank you everyone for visiting IUJ where the world gathers!
