– 3rd Place: Team Renew Africa, for their impactful project and commitment.
The first place Team Walrus will advance to the Regional Summit.
“Participating in the Hult Prize on-campus competition at IUJ was a thrilling and challenging experience, making our first steps into the world of entrepreneurship. We were struck by the possibilities to present innovative business ideas with the potential to win a prize of $1,000,000.
As Walrus team, we would like to thank all of the participants for the effort and the amazing ideas they pitched. Also, we are deeply thankful to the organizers, the coordinator team, IUJ, the IUJ Entrepreneurs Club, Professor Funabashi, all of the judges and SOUQ Inc. for having given us such an amazing opportunity.
The journey was extremely challenging and taught us so much that it is hard to describe it in a few words. We now have the opportunity to turn this dream of ours into a reality, and we are so productive yet so thankful for the opportunity we have been given.
We are looking forward to the next phase, in the hope to strongly represent IUJ in the regional summit. We will do our best to build a green future and to promote IUJ’s amazing community and excellence along the way.“
