Status of Residence Designated Activities

For all applicants

Follow the instructions below and apply for a recommendation letter which is required as one of the submissions for visa change.

Basically, we support a visa change for students who meet all the requiements.

We never consider your request in the following cases:

  • Application after the deadline
  • Job hunting report with 5 job applications in a short period
  • Reissue a recommendation letter in case loss or miss a visa expiration date

For those who plan to work as a part-time worker soon after graduation

A Designated Activities Visa will be required to work as a part-time worker. It is illegal to do part-time jobs with student visas after graduation even if you have a work permit with valid expiration since you are not a student any longer.

In case you need to start working earlier, please consult the Career Support Team as soon as possible to confirm the process.
