IUJ Graduation Ceremony will be held on following schedule. Date: June 24 (Sat), 2017 10:00-12:10 Conferment of Master’s Degree Certificate Venue: Koidego Cultural Hall (Great Hall) 12:10-13:00 Celebration Party Venue: Koidego Cultural hall (Public Square in front of Small Hall) 15:00-15:20 Class Tree Unveiling by Graduates Venue: IUJ Alumni Forest (It may be cancelled if it rains.)    

The Open Campus will be held on August 1

Event: Open Campus for prospective applicants Date: Tuesday, August 1, 2017 Time: AM 11:00  –  PM 4:00 Location: IUJ Campus (777 Kokusai-cho, Minami Uonuma-shi, Niigata prefecture) MAP IUJ will hold the Open Campus on August 1 (Tue). The main purpose of this Open Campus is observing Intensive English Program (IEP) Classes. IEP provides intermediate- to advanced-level English training for people who need practical English skills.  For the last several years, the IEP has also included groups of students on IMF scholarships who study here for the summer and then enroll at other universities in Japan and Summer-Only Professionals who will return to their respective workplaces after the summer. 8th Minamiuonuma Gourmet Marathon Race

The 8th Minami Uonuma Gourmet Marathon race was held on June 11 (Sun). IUJ was the 7th Aid station of the half marathon race, students supported the water supply and many members of the IUJ community came out to cheer the runners who included IUJ’s some faculties, students and staffs. Union Minister for Border Affairs meets Myanmar students

At the invitation of the Nippon Foundation, a Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt. Gen.  Ye Aung paid a visit to Japan to study technical and agricultural colleges and research and training centers as well as to discuss further cooperation between the Nippon Foundation and the Ministry of Border Affairs.  During the tour, the minister visited IUJ campus and met Myanmar students.  The minister was accompanied by Mr. Hideo Watanabe, Chairman of Japan-Myanmar Association, H.E. IMC Networking Event – a global gathering

On a recent fieldtrip to Hakkai Creates earlier in May, the CEO, an IUJ alumni, was asked what was the most valuable aspect of his education at IUJ, without hesitation, he said it was the network of people he met during his MBA studies. This statement confirmed the importance of the International Management Council’s (IMC) initiative to host the first networking event for all students in the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM). IUJ Olympic 2017 was held

A successful IUJ Olympic was held from May 15 through May 27.  This is an annual event which is held in the evenings after classes and on weekends, organized by Graduate School Organization Executive Committee (GSO-EC).  A total of 8 multi-cultural teams (25 members per team) which are formed by mainly students included staff, alumni and outsiders aimed for victory over 15 various events.  “Team Warriors” won the overall victory this year as well as last year, the gold medals and a trophy were awarded.
