The event, organized by JICA as part of the TICAD9 side events, was held in a hybrid format at JICA Yokohama, with IUJ and the Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC) participating as co-organizers. Liberian Ambassador Visited International University of Japan (IUJ)

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Edward Wade Appleton, Jr., Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia to Japan, visited the International University of Japan (IUJ). During the visit, IUJ President Kikkawa provided an overview of the university, highlighting its student body size, the diversity of regional backgrounds, and the highly international learning environment. He also shared information on the enrollment of students from African countries, including Liberia.
