International University of Japan Hosts Snow Festival to Promote Intercultural Exchange Through Snow Sculptures and Bonfires
International University of Japan held the International University Snow Festival on February 14, 2026, welcoming students and faculty members along with students from Keio University and Kokusai Joho High School. Designed to foster interaction among participants, the winter-themed event featured a variety of engaging activities. Highlights included a snow sculpture contest showcasing participants’ creativity, as well as complimentary hot cocoa and a bonfire area, where attendees enjoyed a warm and relaxed atmosphere on the snow. IUJ Student Receives First Prize at FALIA Essay Competition 2025 Award Ceremony
Ms. Lahiru Nirasha Tharamasinghe, a second-year student in the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM), won First Prize at the prestigious FALIA Essay Competition 2025, and the awards ceremony was held in Tokyo on January 30, 2026.
