Liberian Ambassador Visited International University of Japan (IUJ)

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Edward Wade Appleton, Jr., Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia to Japan, visited the International University of Japan (IUJ). During the visit, IUJ President Kikkawa provided an overview of the university, highlighting its student body size, the diversity of regional backgrounds, and the highly international learning environment. He also shared information on the enrollment of students from African countries, including Liberia. Niigata, Japan – June 16, 2025 – The International University of Japan (IUJ), through a collaboration between the IUJ Research Institute and student leadership councils, hosted a special academic symposium on June 16, 2025 to showcase student research excellence in conjunction with the annual FALIA Essay Competition. Mr. Syed Nasir ERSHAD, Economic Minister of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Tokyo, visited the International University of Japan (IUJ)

On Wednesday, June 18, Mr. Syed Nasir ERSHAD, Economic Minister of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Japan, visited the International University of Japan (IUJ) to meet with Bangladeshi JDS students and faculty members. During his visit, he had a discussion with Prof. Kato, Dean of the Graduate School of International Relations, and Prof. Cooray.
