– Why did you choose IUJ?

To begin with, I would like to say that I am very excited that I have chosen IUJ. I wanted to get my MBA degree at a prestigious University where I can expand my knowledge, improve my skills and prepare for the new challenges in my future career. IUJ was the best match due to its educational environment, cultural diversity, and high rankings among the world’s top business schools.

– What are the features of the program you attend?

IUJ’s MBA program offers a wide range of courses that consist of core and elective courses. There are more than 60 courses from which you can benefit depending on your future career plans. In addition, the teaching methods that includes both individual and group work, are favorable for improving students’ analytical, conceptual, teamworking, and public speaking skills.

– How is the program?

I am writing this at the end of my first term, and I am enjoying it. Of course, the program is quite challenging and takes lots of time and effort, but this makes us stronger. Most of the students here have a lot of work experience, own businesses, and still, have the motivation to grow and learn something new. This environment motivates each individual a lot.      

– How is your life at IUJ?

IUJ is located in a rural area of Minamiuonuma. Life here is very calming, and perfectly fits studying. However, many events, sports activities, competitions, and parties are organized at IUJ to keep us active and social. Besides studies, we spend time in the gym, fitness club, school cafeteria, and snack lounge.

– What is your career path after graduation?

So far, I am loving living in Japan and see myself working here after graduation. Ideally, I would like to work as a business analyst or marketing specialist. Also, Japan is a country that welcomes new business ideas and startups. IUJ has a very active Career Support Team, helping us with Internships and Job Hunting.

– What scholarship are you receiving?

I have a MEXT scholarship at IUJ. It was the university’s recommendation after I submitted my application form. The scholarship covers tuition fees and gives me a monthly stipend that covers all my living expenses here. As MBA programs are expensive, the MEXT scholarship is a great opportunity, and I am sincerely thankful for it.
