International University of Japan held its New Students Welcome Day at the IUJ Gym on Friday, September 30, 2016. This year, IUJ welcomes a total of 192 studetns from 43 countries across the globe, consisting of 86 Graduate School of International Relations students (including 4 PhDs) and 86 of Graduate School of International Management students. IEP students in Oral Communication Skills & Academic Listening Skills course made team presentations on September 1 and 2 at MLIC Hall on Campus, as part of their group project activity. These presentations were based on analyses of international business cases involving cross-cultural conflicts. After each presentation, an active Q&A session was held in which the presentation groups interacted with the audience. IEP is an 8-week intensive English program held between mid-July and early September to enhance participants’ practical English proficiency in the international environment at IUJ.
