AAOM/APJM PDW and Mini Conference were held at IUJ Tokyo Office and IUJ campus

The Asia Academy of Management (AAOM) and Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM) co-organized two-day events with IUJ ⁻ a paper development workshop (PDW) was held in IUJ Tokyo Office on February 28th and mini conference was held on IUJ campus on March1st. At PDW, 16 papers presented at IUJ Tokyo. Researchers from Europe, Africa and America, as well as Japan and other Asian countries came to IUJ to gather for learning and sharing. Professor Yingying Zhang Zhang took part in a parallel session. The mini conference held on IUJ campus had a hundred of offline and online participants. IUJ students won prizes in the 2022 FALIA Essay Competition

Four IUJ students won prizes including 1st place, 3rd place and effort awards in FALIA’s Annual Essay Competition. FALIA (The Foundation for the Advancement of Life & Insurance Around the world) was established in 1962, and the foundation is supported by the Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Company, one of Japan’s longest-standing insurance providers. FALIA’s essay competition has been running since 2014, and allows international undergraduate or graduate students in Japan the opportunity to submit a piece on any topic pertaining to life insurance. Essays can be submitted to the competition in either English or Japanese. International Symposium Successfully Held at IUJ on the Topic of Digital Garden Cities and Green Transformation: “How are rural communities driving Japan forward?”

On January 20, 2023, an international symposium on Digital Garden Cities and Green Transformation, titled “How are rural communities driving Japan forward?” was held on the IUJ campus, co-hosted by International University of Japan and the Cabinet Office. Prime Minister Kishida of Japan laid out his “Vision for a Digital Garden City Nation” and Japan’s “Green Transformation”—also known as “GX”—as key policy agendas. The country’s rural communities are now on the forefront of both digital transformation and the new green revolution.
