JLP Students’ Japanese Presentation Event Featured in Leading Regional Newspaper

The Japanese Presentation Event organized by students in the Japanese Language Program (JLP) at the International University of Japan (IUJ) was featured in Niigata Nippo, one of the leading regional newspapers in Niigata Prefecture.

Held on May 15, the event brought together approximately 40 students from more than 20 countries and regions. Participants delivered presentations in Japanese, introducing their home cultures and sharing their experiences of studying and living in Japan.

The event provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their progress in Japanese language learning while strengthening connections with the local community. The newspaper coverage highlighted both the students’ achievements and IUJ’s commitment to fostering cross-cultural exchange through language education.
