It is the responsibility of the International University of Japan (IUJ) to facilitate and monitor university-wide compliance with these regulations and policies as well as ensuring ethical conduct in all areas of research.

Organization Chart: Responsible Officers

Title Responsibility, scope, and authority
Chief Administrative Officer:
President
Has primary responsibility for managing Research Funds.
Formulates the basic policy and the plan on the prevention of misuse of research.
Conducts awareness-raising activities.
General Administrative Officer:
President
Assists CAO and manages the Research Funds on a university wide basis. Formulates specific plans (compliance education and awareness-raising activities) and confirms the implementation status.
Compliance Promotion Officer:
GSIR Dean/GSIM Dean/
CLEAR Director/IRI Director
GLOCOM Executive Director
Has responsibility and authority for managing the Research Funds in the respective department.
Conducts compliance education and awareness-raising activities to the members, reports to CAO on the implementation status and monitors on appropriate use and management of Research Funds in the departments.
