February Lunch Seminar: R&D, Innovation, and Economic Growth

On Tuesday, February 17, the IUJ Research Institute hosted a Lunch Seminar featuring Prof. Chien-Yu Huang, from the Graduate School of International Relations.
Prof. Huang presented his research on the relationship between public R&D, private R&D, and economic growth, drawing on a Schumpeterian growth framework. While the topic addressed complex theoretical issues, the seminar itself was conducted in a relaxed and collegial atmosphere. The session sparked lively discussion, with many questions from participants and an engaging exchange of ideas throughout the Q&A.
The event offered an excellent example of how rigorous academic research can be shared in an open and enjoyable setting, fostering meaningful dialogue across disciplines.
The nex lunch Seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 18.
Professor Crooks will deliver a Lunch Seminar on Action Research.
Everyone is welcome to join us and bring your own lunch.
