Employers can recruit our students through the following four methods.
- Select candidates from the IUJ Resume Book and conduct interviews.
- Share job posting with IUJ; applications will be compiled and interviews arranged.
- Share job posting with IUJ and receive recommended candidates for interviews.
- Send job posting to IUJ; students apply directly.
Internship
IUJ recommends both on-site and online internships for students, as they provide valuable opportunities to gain practical experience, deepen industry understanding, and support smooth career development, including employment in Japan.
Internship Conditions

| Status of Residence | If international students are hired for paid internships, they must obtain a “Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted under the Status of Residence” (資格外活動許可) on their own. |
NOTE:
For paid internships: Under Japanese immigration law, international students residing on a student visa are permitted to work up to a maximum of 8 hours per day during long vacation periods. For further details, please refer to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan website.

IUJ provides the following services to companies for recruitment and internship opportunities.
Resume Book
We compile all job and internship seekers’ resumes and publish them every January. The Resume Book is distributed free of charge to recruiting organizations. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to request a copy or refer to it.
