Dorm Information

IUJ offers on-campus housing where students live and study together in an international environment. Living in the dormitories provides a 24/7 opportunity to develop cross-cultural communication skills and experience diversity firsthand. Many lasting friendships and memories are made through dorm life.

Student Housing at IUJ

IUJ provides Single Dormitories (SD1, SD2, SD3) and a Married Student Apartment (MSA).

Single Dormitories (SD1, SD2, SD3)

Single dormitories are designed for students who live alone.
All rooms are furnished, so you can start your life at IUJ comfortably from the day you arrive.

In-Room Facilities
Each room includes:

  • Desk & Chair
  • Bed with storage drawers (100 cm × 210 cm)
    Bed mattress, cover, and sheets are provided and can be changed weekly at no cost.
  • Private bathroom (bathtub, shower, shower curtain, sink, and toilet)
  • Closet
  • Air conditioner
  • Window blinds
  • Telephone
  • LAN (internet) connection
  • TV cable outlet (TV is not provided)

Shared Facilities

Students in the single dormitories can use the following shared spaces:

  • Lounges
  • Kitchens
    Students are responsible for bringing their own cooking utensils and kitchenware.
  • Refrigerators
  • TVs
  • Washing machines and dryers
  • A vacuum cleaners
  • Storage area for winter tires

Cafeteria

The campus cafeteria offers a variety of meals for lunch and dinner, including international and Japanese dishes. Halal meals are also available to accommodate students with dietary requirements.

Dinner Time 17:30-19:00 (Last order: 18:45)

Menu

School Shop

The School Shop provides daily necessities, food items, and IUJ original goods, making campus life convenient. Postal services, parcel delivery, and dry cleaning services are also available.

Monday - Friday: 8:00-19:00
Saturday: 13:00-19:00
Closed on Sundays.

Gymnasium and Sports Facilities

A full-sized gymnasium and a workout room are popular gathering spots in the evenings. Students enjoy playing sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, and badminton, or using the exercise machines.
The campus also has four outdoor tennis courts, two of which are equipped with lighting for night-time play.
