About IUJOur Characteristics

Ever since the International University of Japan opened its doors 37 years ago, we have been committed to “producing global leaders” through our educational and research activities.
As a result, we have been able to achieve an unprecedented international environment for our students and produced more than 4,500 graduates from 136 countries, owing to the dedication of our outstanding academic staff and substantial support from the Japanese private sector.
Against a background of increasingly accelerated globalization in the socioeconomic environment surrounding Japan, the need to nurture globally oriented human resources is rapidly becoming an urgent matter.
Drawing on our past experiences and achievements, we, at IUJ, continue to strive towards nurturing human resources with strong leadership skills required by the international society and providing an ideal environment for cultivating “global human resources” through the building of a vibrant network by our alumni and substantiating our collaborative relationships with Japanese business organizations.
