Summer Intensive Program
FACILITATOR APPLICATIONS FOR IEP 2019 ARE NOW CLOSED -
STUDENTS WHO HAVE APPLIED TO BE FACILITATORS WILL BE NOTIFIED IN JUNE
Each year the IEP seeks IUJ students who are on campus in summer as facilitators to assist our classes. These IUJ student facilitators place an essential role in the success of the IEP.
In April, 2019, poster advertisements will be placed around the campus for facilitators who can participate in Intensive English Program classes during the period, August 6 - 30.
However, please note the following conditions:
Conditions that have to be met BEFORE signing up as a facilitator for the summer Intensive English Program of 2019
- ・ Students who have received a scholarship from either the World Bank or IMF cannot participate in the summer program as facilitators.
- ・ GSIR students must obtain approval from their supervisor to work as a facilitator before indicating their availability.
- ・ JICA students must obtain permission from their respective JICA/JICE/JDS office to work as a facilitator before indicating their availability.
- ・ Student spouses are also welcome to apply as facilitators provided that they have or can obtain work permission from the Immigration Office and have a reasonable level of English (e.g. TOEFL 500 or higher). Please understand that the selection of facilitators is made at the complete discretion of the coordinators of the IEP courses. No discussion will be entered into as to selection/non-selection as facilitators – the decision of the ELP in their selection of facilitators is final.
Applicants will soon be notified of the coordinators' decisions.
