IUJ-Indonesia Linkage Program

The Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) is dedicated to developing professionals by educating them to acquire a long-term vision of the rapidly changing world, appreciate diverse perspectives in global and local contexts, and by enhancing their analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities in a wide range of contemporary international affairs.

To accomplish this mission, GSIR offers 5 MA degree programs using English as the medium of instruction, on a residential and highly diversified international campus. To be able to offer more professionals the opportunity to experience the unique setting here at IUJ, the GSIR has partnered with major universities in Indonesia to offer a double-degree program: one year in their Indonesian university and one year with the faculty on the IUJ campus.

This one year “Linkage Program” at IUJ includes academic course work and an independent thesis supervised closely by the IUJ faculty. Linkage Program students then graduate both from their Indonesian university and IUJ with two MA degrees, and return to implement their newly
developed skills in their professional work place.
