IUJ was Selected for Japanese Government Scholarship Student Priority Placement Program

IUJ was selected by MEXT (Ministry of Education, Japan) as a special priority program for Japanese Government scholarship students. Under this program, the government selects several graduate programs geared toward foreign students. These programs, with strong international appeal are given priority in the placement of government scholarship students. At IUJ, the Graduate School of Management’s master’s course, which is an “MBA Program fostering global leaders who utilize Japan’s experiences in economic development and corporate growth,” was selected. IUJ will allocate these scholarships to competitive MBA applicants. Chairman Utsuda received the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun. The Order of the Rising Sun (旭日章 Kyokujitsu-shō) is a Japanese order, established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji. The Order was the first national decoration awarded by the Japanese government, created on 10 April 1875 by decree of the Council of State. The order is awarded to those who have made distinguished achievements in international relations, promotion of Japanese culture, advancements in their field, development in welfare or preservation of the environment. IUJ Ranks 94th in The Economist’s “Global Top 100 Business Schools” The Economist recently published its 2019 MBA rankings, and the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) at the International University of Japan (IUJ) is listed as one of the world’s top 100 business schools. IUJ’s overall rank is 94th. The GSIM at IUJ is the ONLY school from Japan to again be included in this ranking. We also ranked 6th among all schools in Asia. International University of Japan (IUJ) has not yet decided anything about the city’s planning for a new Regional EcoCenter, however, we would like to announce our basic position about it in order not to cause rumors and misunderstanding within and outside of the IUJ community.   Notice IUJ has gained much support from, and coexisted with Niigata prefecture, specifically the Uonuma region, for nearly forty years since our foundation.
