ロケーション IUJ Campus Location

Info for IUJ Students

CRAFTS: Budgets will vary depending on your craft offering. Please pace your supplies to last through 3:30ish. Hopefully supplies for about 200 - 300 can be arranged, but again depends on budget needs. Inexpensive projects, please plan for 500. Expensive ones, please plan for 150. Be sure your area has your country name represented.

INDOOR GAMES: NOTE TO IUJ STUDENTS: Please write out the game concept, goal and rules in Japanese, and have some on your table, but also some to take away so the people can play it again later. Be sure your table or area has your country name and appeal so they know what country’s game they are learning

TRY ON GOWNS and PHOTOS: We hope you can offer a variety of gowns to be tried on by a lot of people. Cleaning costs can be covered. If we need to purchase gowns, let OSS know ASAP. But probably the Embassies can help?? Also, we plan to provide a simple drop light green curtain for the photo backdrop, but if you would like to create a country-specific background, that would be great. Space is limited, but let's see what we can do!? Dressing rooms will be the rooms off the gym for women and men. OSS will provide a Polaroid camera and film cartridge to give the guests an instant photo, and maybe the Photo Club has a plan to participate. We are sure the guests will bring their own cameras/phones for photo taking too.

DANCE: Please prepare a sign outside your classroom and/or decorate your door frame. Also, a sign on a long stick to recruit people from the gym to come to your dance class will be useful (March around from 1-pm 1:20pm to recruit students for the 1:30 class, and then send another rep to the gym at 2:10 to recruit for the 2:30 class). Provide your own portable music player. You will need to TEST your music on the gym system on Friday 11/13 for 11/14 performance. Try to make the dance simple and fun for the town people. Encourage their involvement in the Finale, but it is OPTIONAL. We hope some will join YOU all for a 4-6 minute performance in the center of the gym - no stage.

COUNTRY LECTURES : You can use the PC and projector in 102. Loading the presentation and testing it, and any music, etc. will need to be done on Friday or another time. Please use as much Japanese directly to them (not through a translator) as possible, to help save time. We need to stick to the time table!

OUTSIDE GAMES: Still looking for activities. How about a 2 hour soccer match getting as many town's people into the game as possible with 5-8 IUJers playing too?? Anybody love Frisbee golf?

HELLO RALLY: Please be as helpful and enthusiastic to this project as possible.
