Students have to register for PLATFORM Seminars (or Advanced Seminars) during the

course registration period from the first (Fall) term. (List of PLATFORMs) Please attend the

introductory sessions about PLATFROM activities that will be conducted by faculty members.

You have to decide which PLATFORM you will join by the course registration deadline of the

Fall term. After this deadline, changing the track from PLATFORM Seminar to Advanced

Seminar and vice versa or changing the PLATFORM Seminar from one to another are not

permitted in principle.

All E-Biz students are required to submit the Form 1 on which they are required to indicate

the selected track (either PLATFORM Seminar or Advanced Seminar) and the name of

professor who can be their academic supervisor and tentative research topic to OAA by the

course registration deadline of the Fall term.

Students are required to continuously register for PLATFORM Seminars offered in the same

PLATFORM sequence (PLATFORM Seminar I, II and III) and earn 3 credits in total from the

PLATFORM Seminars.

Advanced Seminars are offered in the same manner as PLATFORM Seminars:

Advanced Seminar I (Fall), II (Winter) and III (Spring).

Students who choose the PLATFORM Seminar track must complete their theses individually or

in a group by mid August on the basis of their term papers written in the PLATFORM

Seminars. Grades for the thesis must be B+ or above for graduation.
