IUJ Advantages

We are Dedicated to Training Tomorrow’s Leaders

Our curriculum is designed to provide you with the functional knowledge and fundamental skills necessary to be an effective and socially responsible leader.

An IUJ Education Provides Global Perspective

Our campus houses students and faculty from more than 50 countries, providing an immersive, multicultural, multi-ethnic environment.

We are in the Perfect Location

Within the world’s second largest economy, 90 minutes from Tokyo by bullet train, and nestled in Japan’s breathtaking “Snow Country”.

IUJ Boasts a Rich History of Success

We are Japan’s original and oldest English-based business school, with 100% of our curriculum offered in English. Now with 30 years of history, IUJ is also the only business school in Japan included in the Economist’s “Best Business Schools” global ranking.

We Offer Comprehensive Language Programs

IUJ students have the chance to obtain a business degree and simultaneously develop a high level of proficiency either in Business English or Business Japanese in our challenging language programs.

IUJ Graduates are in High Demand

For all these reasons, IUJ students eligible to use our Career Counseling & Services are finding jobs before or shortly after graduation.

Global Business Access

Access to Global Business and Top Business Leaders in Asia

IUJ has significant connections with large Japanese and international corporations. IUJ students have many chances to interact with the international business community and see how the real world of business “works”.

Some examples of cooperation between IUJ and multinational corporations are:
Guest executive speakers in class, Senior Executive Seminars, student coursework involving corporate-sponsored projects, faculty research and consulting relationships, and class visits to corporate offices and plant sites.

Guest Speaker Series

The IUJ business school brings top executives to campus to lecture on timely issues. Students have the opportunity to meet them face to face, exchange business cards, and even have personal meetings. What makes us unique is the access we allow our MBA and E-Biz students to even the very top business leaders in Asia. This is an excellent networking opportunity for students.

Research & Consulting Projects

IUJ students, faculty, and staff are often involved in research and consulting projects for companies in Tokyo and in the local community. For example, past projects with consulting, energy, financial, high-tech, marketing, and software companies have resulted in students securing summer internships and employment following graduation. We encourage corporate or sponsored students to identify and share their interests so that more research can be jointly done under the guidance of our business school professors, who have consulting and working experience with a wide variety of businesses.
