7.  Japan Tobacco Asia Scholarship (JT)

Japan Tobacco, Inc. (JT) provides a scholarship for newly enrolling international students.

This scholarship is applicable for all IRP, IDP, PMPP and MBA applicants (both domestic and international applicants).

JT makes the final selection of their scholarship recipients.

Eligibility

1.      This scholarship is available for those who are from Asian countries and regions and who are less than 35 years old as of September 1, 2011

2.      Japanese Language proficiency is equal to or more than intermediate level or Level 3 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

3.      Students who are interested in international understanding and friendship. Recipients will be expected to contribute to promoting these activities

4.      Student is required to attend events organized by JT

Conditions

・Monthly Stipend:                           150,000 yen

 

・The scholarship is awarded for one year (October 2011  to August 2012),  but may be extended.  Extension of the scholarship for the second year of study requires submission of an extension application.

 

Note:

This scholarship does not cover the admission fee or tuition.

 

Interview is held in August for domestic applicants and September for international applicant.
